About Me

I have a B.S. in Bioinformatics with a minor in Computer Science from VCU. I love working with data and coding to solve real-world problems. My experience includes courses in pursuit of my degree, where I developed a strong understanding of coding languages and data management, working on projects with large-scale data sets, and creating reports and webpages to visualize and analyze data. Outside of academics, I also have 10+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician, where I gained expertise in sterile compounding, IV preparation, and environmental monitoring among several other disciplines. I am always eager to learn new skills, concepts and technologies to add to my repetoire alongside my current skills in biological data science and programming. Projects

Bioinformatics Capstone Project: COVID-19's Effect On NFL Performance

A comprehensive look and analysis of players performance after contracting the SARS-Cov2 Virus. Analysis was done on unaffected control groups and broken down in multiple variables including position and playstyle. Please check out the python and R code which sturucturally organized player data and analyzed it in mulitple statistical tests including LMM and PCA clusters.

Retro Game Library

A passion project currently on hold that I plan to resume work on when time allows. Currently it's a SQL based database website run on a school server that allows users to input game data for the sake of logging retro video game collections. Future plans I have for it include migrating the server and setting up true user logins and profiles for actual use in logging and sharing personal game collections, as well as various cleaning and edits. For now, please view it to see work done in PHP, SQL, CSS and other various elements.
